Why A Third of Remote Workers Opt To Work From Their Vehicles
Ever wondered how people get their work groove on while lounging around? Well, here’s the scoop! A bunch of employees, more than a third actually (35%), are mastering the art of “work from bed”! Yep, combining business with ultimate coziness!
Researchers surveyed 2,000 people who work mostly or entirely from home to find out how the work-from-home experience has changed over the years. Before the pandemic era, when life was wild and free, people were like nomadic workers, roaming from place to place. Hotels (43%), a friend’s or family member’s crib (36%), or even coffee shops (28%) – they were all fair game for getting stuff done!
Some brave souls transformed their cars into mobile offices (28%) – talk about multitasking while on the move! Plus, some beach lovers even soaked up the waves and worked at the same time (8%)! That’s dedication to work and Vitamin Sea!
But there’s a twist in this remote work evolution! The tide has turned, and 63% of the surveyed folks have embraced the ultimate transformation: a dedicated home office! Farewell hotel lobbies and beachside shenanigans – it’s all about working like a boss from your home sweet home!
