72% of respondents confess they’re not as thorough as they should be when cleaning. We’ve all got those sneaky corners and nooks that often are neglected – a safe haven for dust and grime! Maybe it’s because they’re too hard to reach (44%) or stubbornly difficult to clean (39%). And let’s face it, adulting can be challenging, and time can be scarce (38%)!

But the plot thickens!!!

Americans might not be the most diligent cleaners after all. 53% admit to “always” or “often” cutting corners when cleaning. Seriously, who’s got time for perfection? Nine percent are the rare unicorns who never cut corners – kudos to them!

The kitchen is the ultimate battleground, with 39% of cleaning time devoted to conquering stubborn kitchen messes. 🍳🧁 And can we get a collective cheer for the bathroom, claiming 25% of the cleaning spotlight? 🛁💫 Bedrooms take the bronze medal at 18% – way to keep it tidy!

Nevertheless, do not panic, oh mighty cleaners! Tom Barber, SVP of Marketing & Product Development at Casabella, has some wisdom to share! 🧙‍♂️

“While deep cleaning your home can be an overwhelming task, there is a lot you can do to make the process more enjoyable and help you to achieve a more thorough clean,” said Tom. “Because floors, specifically, make up the largest area of the home and can take a longer time to finish, you’ll want to make sure that you are being most effective with your routine for a more sanitary clean, like having separate buckets for clean and dirty water when mopping.”
